Upcoming Designs and Accessories

We are currently working on an even more powerful version for lighting carts designed to be mounted underneath carts, with built-in AC battery chargers and a voltmeter.

We’re also working on new and improved options for casters and designs for other carts in the industry. New lighting cart product offerings and design improvements expected to be offered in the 2nd half of 2022.

Who We Are

We’re just a couple of film workers trying to make set life a little easier.  Make Your Cart Go is made in North East Los Angeles in the garage of a 1st AC.  There are two people on the team - Jason Knoll, 1st AC, and Jeremy Mackie, Director of Photography, plus our beloved beta-testers.

Almost everything is being made or assembled here in LA.  Every solder on every part is done in this garage, every hole for the control box and gold mount adapters are done on a drill press in this garage.  The forks are made by Jason's father, a CNC machinist living in Solvang, CA.

This garage operation lends itself to attention to detail, ensuring every solder is intact, every piece works as intended.  Every kit is tested by either Jason or Jeremy before it's shipped out.  Reliability and quality is as important to us as it is to you.  We know the demands of set, and we know that in order for a product to work well, it has to work as hard and reliably as you do.
